Robert Powers,

  • Robert comes to Pine Meadow 34 years at Skokie Country Club as Assistant Golf Professional and Head golf Professional.
  • As a teacher Robert has demonstrated success with players of all levels. While at Skokie Country Club he had taught the men’s and women’s club champion as well as the many flight winners, male and female, of all levels.
  • His love of the game is infectious, this has worn off on his students so his many beginner students, men, women, and juniors have become lifelong players.
  • One of his students has won on the PGA Tour.
  • Robert has been mentored by such nationally known instructors as Dr. Jim Suttie, Jim Hardy, and Mac O’Grady.
  • His philosophy of instruction can be summed with two phrases: “The ball does not lie.” and “Remember you are playing the game, not playing the swing.”
  • He is a past Illinois PGA Section Champion, played in a Western Open and has won multiple Illinois PGA events.

Chris has instructed adult and junior golfers for over 25 years. The last 15+ years have been in the Chicago-land area. Conducting over 15 junior camps, 10 adult clinics and has taught an average of 600 lessons annually. He has worked with many top teaching professionals and has been involved with the golf schools like Jack Nicklaus/Jim Flick and John Jacobs in the past.

1 Hour – $120.00, $25.00 each additional student. Must have at least 4 students and be at least 3 days long.

Semi Private Lessons (up to 4 students)
1 Hour – $120.00, $50.00 each additional student.

Patrick Cermak,
Professional Golfers’ Association of America (PGA) Associate


Patrick Cermak was born and raised on the northwest side of Chicago, where golf has been a central part of his life from an early age. Competing nationally as a junior golfer, Patrick quickly established himself as a high-level player.

He went on to play NCAA Division I golf at the University of Toledo, where he was a four-year letter winner and earned his degree in Communications. During his collegiate career, Patrick competed at the highest national levels, highlighted by qualifying for the 2012 United States Amateur Championship at Cherry Hills Country Club.

Patrick comes from a highly accomplished golf family. Instilled with a strong work ethic and passion for the game by his parents, he and his three older brothers all played NCAA Division I golf. Joseph (Iowa State), Matthew (Missouri State), and Michael (Toledo) who were each four-year letter winners. His brother Joseph went on to play professionally, including on the Canadian Tour.

With experience having been taught by some of the top instructors in the game including Jon Reese and Andrew Emery, Patrick has developed a deep understanding of every facet of golf. His students value his ability to clearly communicate and tailor instruction to each individual player. Patrick emphasizes sound, repeatable fundamentals while also teaching course strategy, the mental side of the game, short-game excellence, and scoring skills.

Patrick is excited to continue teaching and sharing his passion for the game at the outstanding facilities at Pine Meadow Golf Club, helping golfers of all levels elevate their performance.
