16u PGA Jr. Golf League, 16u Team

Who:  This team is for youngsters who have NOT reached their 17th birthday before August 4th of 2017.  This program is open to boys and girls that have played golf and preferably have participated in the PGA Jr. League 13u program.  There will be two teams with 6 players on each team.

What:  This team will be competing against other 16u teams from Schaumburg Golf Club, Palatine Hills Golf Club and Biltmore Country Club.  The league season will culminate with a league championship.  Players from these teams will also be encouraged to participate in the 16u State Championship which is held at Pine Meadow Golf Club.

Where:  Matches will be scheduled and played home and away.  Some matches will be at Pine Meadow and there will be some travel to the other courses.

When:  Matches are usually on Sunday afternoons with the exception being the league championship.  Start time will be somewhere in the area of 4:00pm to 4:30pm with matches lasting about 3 hours.  Dates have not yet been set but are usually played during June and the first couple of weeks of July.  The 16u ILPGA State Championship is on Thursday, August 3rd and is an 8:30am start time.

Registration fee:  The registration fee of the 16u team is $250.00.  This fee is inclusive of all cost for the league, including the league championship.  The 16u ILPGA State Championship team, of which there is not a requirement that the youngster participates in, is an additional fee of $20.00, to be paid later in July.

How to register: Information to register will be forwarded the end of January or the first week of February.
Registration will be on line, once registration is open you will need to call the golf shop for registration password.
