Tip of the Month (February)
With Cabin Fever running at an all time high, make sure that you take care of your body to prepare for your upcoming Golf Season. Make sure that you are getting your cardio and weight training with Dynamic Movements that focuses more mobility rather than strength. I can't tell you enough that the more mobile you are, the easier it is for you to gain distance and most importantly, preventing injuries. Focus on stretching from your shoulders down to your knees and you'll be surprised how much better you feel and how your golf swing will change towards the better. 90% of golfers sit majority of the day, make sure that you stretch your hamstrings and your hip flexors and you will reap the benefits. A short, five minute Dynamic Stretching routine is all you need to make you feel better on and off the golf course. We do have TPI (Titleist Performance Institute) Instructors on staff and if you would like a TPI Assessment, feel free to call the Golf Shop to schedule your Assessment. The Assessment comes with a 45 minute workout plan that will hit the areas you need to improve. Happy Stretching!
